Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I transfer Nana's Needlework patterns to fabric! We suggest using a light box and mechanical pencil. Place your pattern on the light box, then center your fabric over the pattern and pin fabric to pattern. Now just trace the the design. We also like to useTransfer-Eze (shopping under notions). Are all threads colorfast? We find that all the threads we offer are colorfast. I sugggest testing any embroidery threads you want use in your project. Place a length of thread on a piece of white fabric and wet the fabric, press with steam and then a dry iron. Did your thread bleed? If it did we suggest soaking the thead in Retayne before using the thread. What type of fabric should I use? We suggest fine quality 100% cotton fabric. Our favorite is Kona Cotton by Robert Kaufman Should I prewash my fabric? YES! Shipping and Handling We ship via United States Postal Sevice priority mail and your package should arrive in 2 to 4 days. We ship most of our orders in Flat Rate Priority Mail envelopes for $5.40 and Flat Rate Priority Mail Boxes for larger orders and the cost is $11.20.
